Installation Issues and Poor Customer Service
Some customers have reported poor installation practices and a lack of accountability from the company. One customer, who paid $9,000 for a roof replacement, discovered that the installers had shingled over a hole in the wood sheathing without informing them, and had also left original shingles on a small overhang. Despite multiple attempts to contact the company, they received no response.
Positive Experiences with Workmanship and Contracts
On the other hand, some customers have reported excellent workmanship and no issues with their roof replacements. Two customers, who contracted the company for large-scale projects (41 townhouse roofs and a single-detached home), were satisfied with the work done and reported no complaints or issues after several years.
Contract and Warranty Concerns
The company's warranty and contract practices have also been called into question. The customer who experienced installation issues is concerned that the warranty on their Certainteed shingles may be null and void due to the improper installation.
