At Browne Johnson Land Surveyors, we have been serving the Columbia-Shuswap region for over 60 years. Our company was established in 1961, and we are proud to be a full-service land surveying firm with deep community ties and access to decades of knowledge. We are dedicated to providing personal, professional service to our clients in Salmon Arm, Sicamous, Revelstoke, Armstrong, the North Shuswap, and beyond.

Our Field of Practice

As a full-service land surveying firm, we provide a wide range of services to our clients. These services include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Legal surveys: From subdividing land to creating new parcels, marking boundaries, and designating land uses
• Engineering layout and land development planning: We work with clients to ensure that their property rights and the rights of their neighbors are protected
• Subdivisions: From initial application to final survey
• Legal surveys: Easements, rights of way, covenants, and other specialty surveys
• Site surveys: For development planning and construction purposes
• Construction surveys: For houses, commercial structures, and site improvements
• Building Location Certificates: Signed documents showing the positions of improvements for mortgage or inspection purposes
• Other specialty surveys, including Aboriginal lands surveys, provincial and federal park boundary surveys, GPS and conventional control, photo and LIDAR ground control, mineral tenure surveys, accident scene and forensic surveys, and monitoring and landslide analysis surveys

Our team consists of three commissioned British Columbia Land Surveyors and two field technicians.
