Our Story
Since 1979, Shenasi Carpet Limited has been serving the greater Vancouver area. Our owner and operator, Mr. Hossein Shenasi, brings his extensive background in carpet business in Iran and Canada to provide expert services in the sales, cleaning, repair, and restoration of handmade Persian and Oriental carpets. Our showroom floor is home to over 4,000 Persian and Oriental carpets, offering an unparalleled selection under one roof.
Our Founder
Mr. Hossein Shenasi has a rich background in the carpet business, starting at the age of 12 in his hometown of Tabriz, Iran. He began weaving carpets for his uncle and then went on to learn the family business. In the Tehran bazaar, he worked in the famous Momtaz carpet store, dealing with the sale, cleaning, and repair of hand-knotted carpets for over two decades. This wealth of experience has given Mr. Shenasi expertise in all aspects of carpet restoration, including weaving damaged areas, color run removal, stretching out of shapes, binding, and fringing.
