Quality of Work
The reviews for Above and Beyond Concepts (A&B Concepts) highlight significant differences in the quality of work provided. One reviewer, Katayoun Rez, had a disastrous experience with the company, citing poor installation work, damaged property, and inadequate customer support. The reviewer reported that the installation team, Van Floors Ltd, left behind significant damage, including gashes in the screen door, damaged door frames, and scratches on the sliding glass door. Communication and Customer Service
Rez's review also criticized the company's communication and customer service. She felt that the team was unresponsive and unwilling to take accountability for the issues they caused. When she did receive a response, it was only to collect the final invoice, and not to address the problems. In contrast, Genevieve Truce Legg, an interior designer, had an exceptional experience with A&B Concepts. She praised the company's representative, Jenn Brooks, for being knowledgeable, helpful, and responsive to her needs.
Damage and Financial Concerns
Rez's review highlights the significant damage caused to her property, including damage to the ceiling, walls, and drywall. She also mentioned that she was double-charged for some items by the installer. This experience caused her a great deal of stress and anxiety and resulted in the project going significantly over budget. In contrast, Legg's review does not mention any damage or financial concerns.
